La Poblanita Mexican Bar

I'm very confused how multiple people left this establishment 3 star reviews. The service was on point and the waitress was extremely attentive. Mixed cocktails as always expensive but they were actually good, the food was great and the scenery inside this establishment is very colorful and filled with Mexican culture. I would definitely recommend this place , not a lot of Mexican restaurants in this area serve alcohol and in my opinion the electronic menu on the tablet is impressive and helpful because it displays photos and moving videos of all the drinks !

I would like to say that this restaurant has very good food. My husband and I are both chefs and we don't eat out much. When we do eat out it is Poblanita most of the time. Fabiola is the best!! Her service is perfect. She knows us because we come frequently. My children love her too. She makes us feel right at home. She always remembers our special requests so now we don't even have to ask for them (extra ketchup, more red salsa-less green salsa, etc. etc. ) I would like to highlight Fabiola. She is an excellent employee who truly cares about her performance. We also really like the table upgrades. It makes a more quaint restaurant with more privacy for your table which my family enjoys.

This rating is a 3.5 I've been here 5 times so far. 4 Trips have been absolutely delicious, and the 1 time we decided to bring a large group of people, the normal chef called out sick or something, and the person who replaced him had no idea what he was doing in the kitchen. As long as the normal chef is there, the food is good. Their Taco Salad, Torta Cubana, and especially their Quesadillas are Phenomenal! Definitely worth a visit.

If you have been to el primo, which is believe is a sister establishment, you will love la Poblanita. You will find many familiar menu items featured at el primo, with an emphasis on seafood at Poblanita being the key difference in menus. The alcohol is a great deal all around and they make the drinks strong! It's definitely a local scene but the food is worth the trip!!

Reallly good tacos. Food is fresh and delicious! In town for a conference and there's not much by Norristown State Hospital so I was happy to find them and even happier the food was delicious. The waitress was also very friendly.
